IV.  World Wide Web

This is where documents and other web sources are identified by URLs, interlinked by hypertext links that can be accessed through the Internet. This was invented by Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. He wrote the first web browser in 1990 while employed at CERN at Switzerland. It is a global collection of text documents. The following example demonstrates the functioning of a web browser when accessing a page at the URLhttp://www.example.org/home.html.  The World Wide Web is classified into generations:

Web 1.0
Also known as Read only web. It is the first stage of World Wide Web. In Web 1.0, all web pages are connected by hyperlinks.
Web 2.0
Also known as the read and write web which allows the users to create and share ideas. This also allows the individual to interact and collaborate with other people in social media and other websites.
 Web 3.0
Also known as the semantic executing web. This is supposed to be the most high-tech and modern form of web. Less load time will be practiced and more information you can acquire with just a single click.
