is a software system that is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web. These are programs designed to search or mine the World Wide Web based on keywords provided by the user. As a user, all you need to do is to input the keyword and you will get the answer that you need. Related articles will also appear. Examples for these are google, yahoo, bing, and more. 

Research Indexing Site

The researches done by the social scientists, engineers, academic researchers and more are produced as a list or report by assembling information collected from other sources using these websites.






Massive Online Open Course (MOOC)
These are online website or online course used to teach and inform users in different places through online studying. In addition to traditional course materials such as filmed lectures, readings, and problem sets, many MOOCs provide interactive user forums to support community interactions among students, professors, and teaching assistants (TAs). MOOCs are a recent and widely researched development in distance education. It is also called as "online education".

Employment Websites

These allows the companies to offer job opportunities/job vacancies and also to provides accommodations for  job hunters all over the world. Other employment sites offer employer reviews, career and job-search advice, and describe different job descriptions or employers. An employee can find and fill-out job applications and submit their resumes online for the announced position. 

Electronic Commerce (E-commerce)

This is used to trade products and services using the Internet or online social networks. This also includes the buying and selling of goods online. These business transactions occur either as business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer and consumer-to-business. Examples for this are online shopping, online business, advertising/promoting businesses online.
